Woodoo is a sustainable materials company that transforms low-grade, climate-impacted, and dieback wood into high-performance building materials that serve as alternatives to steel, aluminum, and concrete. The company flagship product, STACK, is made by augmenting wood to achieve up to 90% fewer emissions compared to traditional construction materials. STACK Facade offers 10 years without greying, is cheaper than aluminum, and uses 100% French hardwood for cladding and siding applications. STACK Structure is 7x stronger than concrete, cheaper than concrete, and 2x faster to build with, used for columns and beams in structural applications. Woodoo is the first company in the biobased industry to scale commercially for global construction projects, with endorsements from major construction firms including Bouygues, BNP Paribas Real Estate, Vinci Group, and Eiffage Group. Founded in 2016 and headquartered in Paris, France, Woodoo has raised $31 million in Series B funding from investors including EIC Fund, Lowercarbon Capital, and Climate KIC.
