About
Xona Space Systems is a navigation infrastructure company building a Low Earth Orbit satellite constellation called Pulsar that delivers centimeter-level positioning, navigation, and timing (PNT) services. The system broadcasts an entirely new signal compatible with existing GPS devices through a software update, offering stronger signal strength, native user accuracy, and faster authentication than legacy GPS. Pulsar consists of 258 small satellites at 1,080 km altitude, serving applications across defense, agriculture, telecom, transportation, maritime, aviation, financial systems, construction, mining, and autonomous robotics. Xona has launched Pulsar-0, its first commercially funded navigation satellite, and offers the Pulsar Verified program for receiver and chipset integration. Founded in 2019 and headquartered in Burlingame, California, Xona has raised $320 million at the Series C stage from investors including NGP Capital, Lockheed Martin, Toyota Ventures, Future Ventures, Seraphim, Space Capital, 1517 Fund, Murata, and MaC Venture Capital.
