Zeta Surgical develops an AI-powered neuronavigation system that provides real-time, frameless surgical guidance with submillimeter accuracy without requiring head fixation or general anesthesia. The ZETA platform tracks patient movement 20 times per second, enabling image-guided interventions in operating rooms, emergency settings, and ambulatory centers. The system has received FDA 510(k) clearance for cranial navigation, brain biopsy, ventriculostomy, and transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS). Clinical studies demonstrate 100% single-pass catheter placement for external ventricular drains (vs 81% freehand), 0% revision surgeries (vs 19% freehand), and 0% adverse events (vs 28% freehand). The Zeta TMS Robotic System has also received FDA 510(k) clearance, achieving less than 1mm positional and less than 1 degree angular accuracy for repeated targeting across TMS therapy sessions. The system has been commercially deployed at HOPE Therapeutics clinics. Founded and headquartered in Boston, United States, the company has raised approximately $8.2 million at the seed stage.
