Allvue Systems is a Miami headquartered investment management software provider for the alternatives industry, formed in 2019 through the merger of Black Mountain Systems and AltaReturn, with operations across North America, Europe and India. It reports more than 8.5 trillion dollars in assets, 21,000 funds and 500 clients on the platform, serving private equity managers, private debt and public credit managers, fund administrators and banks. The integrated suite spans fund accounting and general ledger, a credit front office covering portfolio management, research management, trade order management, compliance and fund finance, investor relations, fundraising, and loan operations from notice capture through servicing and cash reconciliation. Nexius is its data platform, offering vendor agnostic bi directional connectivity with fund accounting, CRM and third party systems and supporting downstream tools such as Snowflake and Power BI, with a Nexius Intelligence layer publishing rights cleared benchmark data on deals, borrowers, covenants and transactions. The artificial intelligence line was launched from 2025 as the Allvue Agentic AI Platform, described as an infrastructure layer combining generative models with domain knowledge. Its two named components are Andi, a knowledge agent delivered as a browser extension inside the existing fund accounting and credit front office interfaces that gives step by step guidance on capital calls, issuer setup, compliance rule interpretation and trade execution, and Document IQ, a data extraction capability that converts credit statements, borrower financial statements, loan notices and credit agreements into structured data to automate the financial spreading and portfolio monitoring entry that credit analysts perform by hand. The company states that the embedded design is deliberate, so that models act on live governed data inside the platform rather than requiring export to a third party tool. Named clients include the Nordic private equity firm Polaris, the Mauritius fund administrator Inventure and Phoenix Fund Services.
