Coupa Pay is the payments module of Coupa's spend management platform, extending AI-powered accounts payable automation into the payment step itself. It uses AI-driven OCR to ingest invoices in any format, automatically matches them to purchase orders and goods receipts through two- and three-way matching, and routes approvals based on configurable rules, feeding validated invoice data directly into payment processing for reconciliation. Payments can be made directly from a company's business bank account for domestic and cross-border transactions, and the platform integrates fraud detection and supplier risk signals to flag suspicious transactions before they're paid. It gives finance teams real-time visibility into invoice status, outstanding liabilities, and cash position, and is aimed at accounts payable and treasury teams at mid-size to large enterprises.
