Overview
Entrilia is an early stage, venture backed fund operations software company for private capital managers, seed funded by Watertower Ventures and selling front to back operations software to private equity funds, venture capital funds, private debt managers and asset managers, alongside the third party administrators many of them outsource to. The product is built around what the company calls the most advanced general ledger for private capital and alternative assets: a cloud native, event driven, dual sided accounting system handling allocations, portfolio, cash, payables and calculations, an interactive ownership builder for constructing multi entity fund hierarchies by drag and drop with multiple entity types and currencies, investor insights, business intelligence, a data room, and an investor portal delivering documents and performance updates under per contact access controls. Reporting runs from capital call notices through custom analytics on a single data model. The platform is positioned as API first and deliberately open, extendable by end users and developers alike, and it ships a named standard connector to the waterfall calculation engine of qashqade so those calculations run inside the application rather than beside it. The artificial intelligence line has two published parts. The company states the platform is enhanced with agentic capability that proactively assists teams across accounting, reporting, data and workflows, and that its configurable input forms use models to cut the time spent organizing the events and transactions inside complex structures. Separately it has shipped an interoperability protocol server, so a customer can query live platform data from whichever assistant they already use rather than from an assistant the vendor supplies. The investor portal additionally applies behavioral analytics and machine learning to detect attacks and previously unseen exploits, which is a security control rather than part of the accounting product.
