Overview
Juniper Square is a San Francisco based fund operations partner to more than 2,300 private markets general partners, combining software with an outsourced fund administration business, valued at 1.1 billion dollars after a 130 million dollar Series D led by Ribbit Capital. Its platform spans more than 45,000 investment entities, 750,000 unique limited partners, 1.25 million positions and 1 trillion dollars in active limited partner capital, with its own administration team overseeing more than 300 billion dollars in assets. The product is GPX, described as a fund operating system, covering fundraising, investor relations and onboarding, fund accounting, general ledgers, payments and treasury, compliance, reporting and the investor portal. The artificial intelligence line is JunieAI, which drives three shipped things. First, an investor relations customer relationship system launched in October 2025 and positioned as the first such product purpose built for private markets fundraising, automating manual work, enriching investor data and surfacing prompts for capital raising teams. Second, Headless GPX, introduced in June 2026, which exposes every platform capability across the full fund stack to any client speaking the Model Context Protocol, naming Claude, Microsoft Copilot and ChatGPT specifically, and carrying the same data, the same permissions and the same audit trail into whichever assistant the firm chooses; it shipped in limited beta as a read interface with write actions and a headless investor portal on the near term roadmap. Third, Fay, an admin oversight agent launched in July 2026 and the first of a planned family of agents, which ingests the deliverables produced by any third party fund administrator or internal accounting team, including financial statements, partner capital account statements and supporting workbooks, and runs more than 150 accuracy and consistency checks against the firm's own entity structure, investor roster and prior period figures, with customers able to add their own checks to the standard library. The company states it cuts financial statement review time by roughly 80 percent and describes the strategy as an agentic shadow accounting stack that gives general partners fiduciary oversight of their administrators. Fay was built first for the company's own administration team before being sold to firms using rival administrators, and requires no integration or data onboarding. Named early adopter work includes the chief financial officer of ApexOne Investment Partners.
