Avant Protocol is a decentralized finance platform that provides DeFi-powered yield-bearing stablecoin products for onchain capital. The platform offers avUSD, avBTC, and avETH tokens that provide USD, Bitcoin, and Ethereum-denominated yields respectively, each structured in two tranches: Senior tokens (savUSD, savBTC, savETH) that earn priority yield with downside protection, and Junior tokens (avUSDx, avBTCx, avETHx) that absorb losses after the Reserve Fund is exhausted in exchange for higher yield potential. Risk management includes four protection layers: security infrastructure with MPC key management, a protocol-owned Reserve Fund, Junior tranche capital buffer, and Senior tranche as the most protected position. Founded in 2024 and headquartered in Palo Alto, California, Avant Protocol has raised $6.5 million in seed funding from investors including Superlayer, Avalaunch, GoGoPool, and Daybreak Digital.
