Meridian Innovation is a manufacturer of advanced CMOS thermal imaging sensors for consumer and commercial applications, utilizing its patented SenXor technology platform to enable mass-producible long-wave infrared (LWIR) products. The company product portfolio includes the Cheetah Camera Module, a breakthrough 50x50 LWIR thermal imaging sensor engineered for compactness and affordability in mass-market applications; the Panther Camera Module featuring a 160x120 focal plane array with 19,200 pixels delivering radiometric output with per-pixel temperature readings and shutterless continuous operation; the Cougar Camera Module with 80x62-pixel resolution; and XPRO, a smartphone thermal camera for real-time temperature monitoring. All products feature wafer-level vacuum packaging for enhanced durability. Meridian serves applications including smart appliances, elderly care, baby monitoring, thermal hazard monitoring, automotive interior air-conditioning and safety, anti-spoofing, and smart infrastructure. The Cheetah sensor won the 2025 EE Awards Asia Best Sensor of the Year. Founded in 2016 with operations in Hong Kong, Singapore, USA, and UK, Meridian Innovation has raised approximately 8.5 million in a Series C round with investors including PlanetSpark, Creative Labs, Excelpoint Technology, and SEEDS Capital.
