About
SiLC Technologies develops integrated single-chip FMCW LiDAR and 4D vision systems that enable machines to perceive the world with unprecedented detail, precision, and velocity detection capabilities. The company coherent sensing technology uses frequency modulated continuous wave (FMCW) technology built on silicon photonics, enabling low power operation while simultaneously measuring instantaneous velocity and distance with an order of magnitude improvement over competing solutions. SiLC provides more data modalities than any other vision solution, delivering 4D+ vision that includes position, velocity, reflectivity, and polarization information. The company product portfolio includes Eyeonic Trace Ultra, a Class 1 Laser Line Scanner capable of dimensioning objects with extreme accuracy from distances up to 10 meters with 3x better accuracy for industrial automation and inspection; Eyeonic Vista, an ultra-long-range high-resolution 4D vision system for perimeter security with over 2km detection range; and Eyeonic Edge for high-precision 4D inspection of large objects. SiLC serves industrial and AI robotics with superior perception capabilities for complex tasks in dynamic environments, dual-use solutions for perimeter security and counter-UAS with advanced detection and tracking, and mobility and consumer markets supporting advanced mobility solutions with reliable detection in all environmental conditions. The company has received investment from Honda to develop next-generation FMCW LiDAR for all types of mobility, partnered with Cloud Light for volume manufacturing, and expanded its Monrovia headquarters to over 30,000 square feet. SiLC holds 50+ U.S. patents and was named a finalist for the 2025 Automate Innovation Award. Founded in 2018 and headquartered in Monrovia, California, SiLC Technologies has raised approximately $78.6 million in Series B funding from investors including Dell Technologies Capital, Sony Innovation Fund, Honda Xcelerator Ventures, Industrial Technology Investment Corporation, Decent Capital, FLUXUNIT, Yamato Holdings, Global Brain, UMC Capital, Epson X Investment Corporation, Hokuyo Automatic, and Roh.
